You may not like the track for its race evolution, but you can't argue about the mass of great pictures that the track's lights and layout help produce.

I absolutely agree. Ironic as this is a track built in a desert which, by nature, is beautiful due to it's lack of detail. It's like an oasis. Stunning.

Lotus has to fucking pay the dude already. I've been a Kimi fan ever since I got into F1, and I'm pretty sure I'm not the only fan who's as angry at Lotus as he is and I'm also not the only fan who wouldn't be surprised if he does boycott the rest of the season for their bullshit.

I'm sure he'll drive, Lotus gave him the short wheelbase version of the car he wanted and it worked well, so he might as well drive the race since he's there.

And it's Räikkönen. Rakkinoen sounds pretty funny, rakki is finnish for mutt or pooch and noen is genitive or accusative of noki that is finnish for soot. "Rakkinoen tummuttama savupiippu" translates as "chimney darkened by muttsoot" and "Rakkinoen ilmastovaikutukset ovat huolestuttavia" as "muttsoot's environmental effects are worrisome". I'm not kidding, that word could be used in pet crematories.

On tuesday nights the circuit is open for runners and cyclist. No admission and if you don't have your bike, you can rent one cheap. Too bad we were there quite late so we could only do one lap. By the end we had the circuit for ourselves. (the rest was properly training and had already finished).
